Bare with me… This post is all about the mistakes I made and the resultant crap that I produced.
The Blood Moon
A total lunar eclipse is sometimes called a Blood Moon, because of the reddish tinge the Full Moon takes on when fully eclipsed. When I learned we’d be expecting one, I quickly ordered a telephoto lens and tripod. My intent of course was to capture some good shots. My mistake was to have ordered an inexpensive tele-zoom lens that would only work if I were to have used manual settings. - Lens choice – only manual, which is not suited for a novice
- Lacking in understanding of lighting and lighting control
